Released in October 2012, the Google Nexus 10 was a tablet with a 10.1 inch display designed and manufactured by Samsung as part of Google’s Nexus range. Despite having a focus on their own tablets at the time, Samsung still had the time to work on a Google tablet. The Google Nexus 10 has a beautiful 2560 x 1600 resolution display and on the inside a Exynos 5250 chipset can be found. The 5250 is powered by a dual core 1.7GHz processor, a Mali-T604 and 2GB of RAM. In 2012 this hardware was an impressive pick for Samsung and it worked incredibly well – it still does now but the advancement of the Android operating system has brought forward more demanding applications and games. As a result, to get the most out of the hardware in the Google Nexus 10, you may consider rooting the tablet.

After you have rooted the Google Nexus 10 by using our One Click Root system you will be able to install root-only apps, control the processor clock speed of the Exynos 5250’s dual core processor, remove unnecessary apps and even install custom ROMs that act as a separate community-made overlay for the Android system. Custom ROMS usually have a range of benefits including better performance and battery control, less unnecessary apps and more utilities for those looking to get the absolute most out of the Google Nexus 10 tablet. Currently the Google Nexus 10 has a number of custom ROMs under development, including CyanogenMod.

The rooting process can be a little complicated when using traditional methods but our One Click Root software takes away the pain and frustration and makes rooting easy to understand and incredibly straightforward to follow through. Simply follow the four steps above and you will have your Samsung Nexus 10 tablet rooted in no time.
