The LG G5 has arrived on Sprint and it comes with the latest Marshmallow 6.0.1 update out of the box. The new Sprint LG G5, otherwise known as the LS992, features the same hardware features as the global version and both of the available launch modules can be used on the Sprint variant. The only difference you may notice to the LS992 Sprint variant is on a software level. You may find a number of Sprint apps on your device by default, but these can be uninstalled once you have rooted your smartphone.

There are many different ways to root an Android smartphone – some methods are complicated and require you to follow a list of instructions from an experienced Android developer found over on the forums of XDA Developers. Other methods are lot simpler and are often much safer too. The root method we’ll be using for the LG G5 Sprint is the One Click Root method. With this you will be able to use software that can root your smartphone at the click of a button. In fact, the software you’ll be able to use today has been created in-house by us and it supports hundreds of different Android devices and dozens of their model variants. Our software offers a better experience overall than other alternatives for a number of reasons. It is faster, it’s easier and it’s a lot safer!

To get started, either follow the step by step guide that has been listed above or give the video at the bottom of this article a watch. Once you have used our software, your LG G5 should be rooted within no time! Why not take a read through our blog section afterwards to learn more about how you can make the most out of your newly rooted LG G5 Sprint smartphone.

We are big fans of the LG G5 – whilst it may not appeal to everybody, it features a number of very unique hardware items that we have never seen on an Android device, or any other smartphone before. The first of these features is of course the modular attachments which we briefly mentioned above. With the LG modules, which can be purchased separately, G5 owners can add extra functionality to their smartphone. So far there are just two modules available, but LG has mentioned that they are working on more. Only time will tell whether these new modules will be a big success or a hyped up gimmick. The second unique feature is the dual primary camera setup. With two cameras, G5 owners can switch in and out of wide angle mode and standard photo mode with the tap of a button. In single photo mode, the LG G5 can shoot 16 megapixel images, whilst the wide angle mode can shoot 8 megapixel images.
