Are you hoping to root your Samsung Galaxy Ace II X without any hassle? If you are, you’ve come to the right place! We offer a very simple guide that can take you through the root steps one by one. As part of our root guide, we’ll advise you to install our One Click Root software which can be used to automate most of the rooting process and ensure that everything is as straightforward and secure as possible whilst you attempt to root your smartphone. Once you have rooted your Galaxy Ace II X, you will be able to use the smartphone for a large number of new things. Firstly you’ll be able to delete bloatware on the smartphone to clear up much needed internal memory. You will also be able to install a number of root-only apps or download and install a custom ROM that can replace the laggy TouchWiz Ice Cream Sandwich user experience.
In November 2012, the Galaxy Ace II X was released as a slightly upgraded version to the same smartphone that launched earlier on in the year. The display was just a tiny bit larger and the smartphone came pre-installed with Ice Cream Sandwich as opposed to Gingerbread. The biggest selling point of the X was the increased display size, but the gap from 3.8 inches to the 4 inch display on the X wasn’t that impressive. The same 480 x 800 resolution was also used for the Galaxy Ace II X display. The Galaxy Ace II X also borrowed the same 5 megapixel camera from it’s predecessor and it’s inner hardware was mostly the same.
The memory for the Galaxy Ace II X was offered as 4GB of internal memory and 768MB of RAM. A microSD card slot is available on the Galaxy Ace II X and this can boost the storage by an extra 32GB. The thing that was different on the Ace II X was the processor. Samsung dropped the dual core 800MHz CPU on the Ace II and replaced it with a single core 1.0GHz CPU without a standalone GPU. For the most part performance between both smartphones is going to be shockingly low on present day applications.
The TouchWiz software provided on the Galaxy Ace II X can run smoothly for a while but it seems like the longer it’s used, the more it starts to slow down and become unresponsive. Samsung has fine tuned their UX massively since 2012 but if you’re stuck with the TouchWiz UX on a 2012 smartphone, you’ll have to expect the worst.
