Released in November 2014, the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime was available as one of Samsung’s mid range smartphones. It provided a reasonable experience and offered all of Samsung’s TouchWiz features. Whilst the hardware performance wasn’t spectacular, it easily manages to perform well against the other mid range devices launched in 2014. Samsung’s mid range devices are always a little more pricey than other options in the same price range but if you’re a TouchWiz fan, you may consider it a worthy hike in price. If you aren’t a fan of TouchWiz then we’d suggest that there are plenty of other great smartphone options out there that cost less and offer similar, or even better overall performance.

If you would like to root your Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-G360T1, please read through the guide listed above. This guide will explain how to setup your USB debugging, how to connect your device to the PC and how to use our One Click Root software, which can be used to root your Galaxy Core Prime at the click of a button. Once you have followed these steps above, the rest of the rooting process is very straightforward. In fact, after this point practically all of the work is completed by our software!

The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime comes with a range of mid-range specifications. Some of the hardware on the Core Prime we’re happy with, but we would have liked to see some improvements in other aspects. For example, the 4.5 inch display on the Galaxy Core Prime has a 480 x 800 resolution, which in our opinion, isn’t quite what we were hoping for. Even a small upgrade to 540 x 960 would have been a nice improvement but we expect that Samsung wanted to save as much money as possible on the display to help bring the price down. Other aspects of the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime are appreciated. The Snapdragon 410 chipset was definitely the best mid range offering available in November 2014 and with a quad core 1.2GHz processor and an Adreno 306, it offers reasonable results that can get you through the day without much lag or hindrance to performance. Another negative aspect of the Galaxy Core Prime is the 1GB of RAM – with this, users are incredibly limited on what applications they are running at the same time. This is especially the case with TouchWiz because it can take quite a big drain on performance. The Galaxy Core Prime also comes with a 2,000mAh battery capacity, 8GB of internal memory and support for a microSD card.
