In November 2014, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note Edge as a device that bridged both worlds. At the time it was a bit of a test concept for future devices and since then the Galaxy Edge Plus has filled the spot that the Galaxy Not Edge originally took. By blurring together two of Samsung’s most popular devices, the Note Edge features a large display, a range of Note software features, the S Pen stylus and the Edge display that originally saw it’s way on the Galaxy S6 Edge in 2015. Even though the device is now outperformed by the newer Galaxy Edge+, the Note Edge still has plenty to offer both on the hardware and software side of things.

If you have come here to root the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, chances are you aren’t too interested in hearing any more about the device itself. The Galaxy Note Edge should soon get an upgrade to Marshmallow 6.0.1 and when it comes it’ll have some of the latest stock features including better control over battery saving. However, if you’d like the best experience now, you may want to root your Galaxy Note Edge. If you own the SM-N915S variant and you’d like to root your device as quickly as possible, take a read through our step by step guide provided above. This guide will take you through a brief setup period and from there you’ll be able to use our One Click Root software which has been designed to root devices automatically. By automating the process we’ll save you any hassle or potential risks that may be involved with manually rooting your Galaxy Note Edge. Once you have finished the rooting process, make sure to take a look through our blog section to learn more about how you can make the most out of your newly rooted Galaxy smartphone!

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge’s biggest noticeable feature is it’s edge-to-edge 5.6 inch display which has a gorgeous 1600 x 2560 pixel resolution. The Edge features on the Note Edge are as limited as the Galaxy S6, so whilst you won’t be getting the latest features available from Samsung’s 2016 devices, you’ll still get the super attractive Edge panels and a set of apps with limited functionality. Delving further into the Galaxy Note Edge reveals that the device also has an S Pen stylus and the same applications that have previously been exclusive to the Note lineup. On the inside, the Note Edge is powered by the Snapdragon 805 chipset – not the best thing on the market nowadays but it still does it’s job well. The device also has 3GB of RAM and a 3,000 mAh battery which is more than reasonable for a device of this size. More battery would have been nice but we can’t complain with the current battery offering. And yes, the battery can be removed so you’ll be able to entertain the potential of a bigger third party battery if you don’t mind bulking up your smartphone a little.
