The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a proof of concept that could work exceptionally well in the future. Whilst the Note Edge doesn’t quite have all of the latest and greatest Edge features, it still has the unique dual curved display that Samsung has made a feature in all of their latest flagship lineups. The Note Edge also makes use of all of the unique Note features, including a larger display, better hardware and S Pen functionality. Unfortunately performance on the Note Edge isn’t the best – it mostly performs fine but with the overburdening software features it does lag in certain occasions. The Note Edge also has a pretty mediocre battery life because when under full usage so if there were to be a sequel to this device, we’d hope that this could be worked on.

The Galaxy Note Edge can be rooted fairly easily by using our One Click Root software. Whilst traditional rooting methods available on the internet may be good for experienced rooters, there are still plenty of risks that could occur with even the most experienced Android rooters if any mistakes are made. The Galaxy Note Edge rooting process shouldn’t be complicated though, so with One Click Root everything has been automated to make the process as safe and straightforward as possible. To begin the rooting process, please follow the four steps listed above. Once you’ve followed these steps, the rooting process will be able to begin.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a 5.6 inch display with a beautiful 1440 x 2560 resolution. With this resolution, the device has a superb 524 pixels per inch, making it one of the highest resolution phablet displays currently available. The Galaxy Note Edge also has a 16 megapixel camera that can produce some equally exceptional results. The camera can also record 2K video footage which can be viewed in full resolution on the device itself, thanks to the high resolution. On the front the Galaxy Note Edge has a 3.7 megapixel camera. The Note Edge uses a Snapdragon 805 chipset which comes with a quad core 2.7GHz Krait processor and an Adreno 420 GPU. Packed alongside 3GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 805 manages to perform well in most situations but there are times where the chipset becomes too overwhelmed with demanding tasks and lag can be noticed.

Besides the performance based hardware, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a 3,000mAh battery which can produce mediocre battery life results. The Note Edge has 32GB or 64GB of internal storage but this can be expanded via the available microSD card slot.
