When the Samsung Galaxy S5 launched in 2014 it came with a number of different features including a revamped TouchWiz interface. This time round the interface offered a simpler approach to things. The new minimalistic interface drew a lot of attention and whilst the build quality mostly stayed the same, the new software changes were definitely given a lot of praise. In 2016 the latest Samsung release is the Galaxy S7 and it seems that Samsung has simplified things even further. If you’re more of a fan of the 2014 version of TouchWiz you may want to consider picking up or holding onto the Galaxy S5 for another year or two. Fortunately the Galaxy S5 can now also be purchased for a much cheaper price than the Galaxy S7 or the S7 Edge.
