How to root the Motorola Xoom MZ604

Step 1) Download One Click Root and install it on your PC, Mac, or Linux computer
Step 2) Move to your Motorola Xoom MZ604 and enable USB debugging from the settings menu
Step 3) Connect your Motorola Xoom MZ604 to your computer via USB cable
Step 4) Run the One Click Root software and wait for the rooting process to be completed

The Xoom also had plenty of storage options to choose from – it came in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants and when this space ran down, Xoom owners could attach a 32GB microSD card for extra storage.

The Motorola Xoom came pre-installed with the tablet-only Android 3.0 Honeycomb, but Google understood that creating two separate OS versions for their tablets and their smartphones was a bad call. Fortunately the Motorola Xoom does have an available upgrade to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich which is the oldest OS most new apps on the Google Play Store support.
