A new rumor going around the internet this week claims that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 will have dual cameras.
The dual cameras will work together on the back of the device to create features like photo focusing and blurring. HTC became well-known for its duo lens cameras in the HTC One M8, and it seems likely that Samsung could follow suit.
That rumor comes from a Korean report that claims Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy S7 with dual cameras next year.
Of course, the S7 will also feature a front-facing camera likely in the range of 6MP to 8MP (the Galaxy S6 has a 5MP front-facing camera).
Other rumored features on the Galaxy S7 include Gear VR features, a Snapdragon 820 SoC or Exynos 8890 Soc, and a 5.1 to 5.7-inch display. There’s also rumors that Samsung is adding a microSD card slot – which might be the most surprising addition out of all the features listed here.
